Meet REALTOR® Gordon Weathers
Connecting home buyers and sellers.
Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Gordon Weathers. I’ve called the Branson Table Rock Lake area home for nearly 20 years. Like so many others, I moved to southwest Missouri in search of a great place to raise my kids, and that’s exactly what I found.
It’s hard to not fall in love with the lakes that surround this area of the Ozarks. My family spends much of our free time boating on Table Rock Lake. Tubing, water skiing and just floating along the clear waters of Table Rock Lake is what makes lake life so enjoyable to me. I also love to drop a fishing line whenever possible, although I must admit I’m not the best fisherman.
My kids have attended the area’s local school districts, so I have first-hand insight on what you can expect from our excellent public schools. I can also answer the question of what you do for fun around here and tips on how to quickly become acclimated in the community. Any suggestions you need, just ask!
I’ve been part of the business community in Taney and Stone Counties since moving to the area. I’ve worked in the general business and tourism industries. Today, my wife and I own a national marketing company based in Stone County. We work with many different industries and business sizes. Being in touch daily with the business ownership and workforce needs of the area gives me a unique prospective for new residents relocating to the area.
Once moving to the area it won’t take you long to realize the Ozarks is an extremely caring area. We take care of our neighbors. There are many opportunities to volunteer, join civic groups and area nonprofits are always looking for motivated board members. During my time in the tri-lakes I’ve spent years as a Rotary Club member, Reeds Spring City Alderman, Water District Board Member and Chamber of Commerce Board Member. Currently, I give much of my time to my local church as well as being a volunteer fireman and a Shriner. As I said earlier, there are many ways to get involved in your community and I hope you’ll take some time to explore your interests. Getting involved in a group or club is a great way to become rooted in the area.
